| | What type of car do you own? | | I own a 1997 red Pontiac Grand Prix. I have completely remolded the sound system in my car. I changed all of the speakers in the car, 4 regular speakers and 2 tweeters, with all top of the line after market speakers. I changed my head unit with the best alpine available without buying the DVD players. My head unit has touch technology. There is a scroll bar at the bottom, where I can scroll between songs or options. After adding all of this I went out and bought a Subwoofer and amplifier package. The package was around $500.00 and included two subwoofers, an amp, and a box. My amp is a kenwood blasting out 1700 WATS of power. This amp powers two 12 inch kenwood subs, which by the way are the best subs I have ever heard. The subs are held in any ordinary subwoofer box, and placed in the trunk. The car still runs good, besides the ordinary problem. I have had problems mainly with my air conditioning and my coolant system. The coolant system has given me a lot of problems, but is fixed now. We still haven't figured out the air conditioning problem, but as soon as we do we will fix that as well. Well that's my car inside and out. What type of car do... | |
| | Boss Hoss V8 Chevy on two wheels | | Have you ever wanted to ride a Boss Hoss and feel the power of one of these machines, I own one built in 2002 so it's pretty old now but it still gets up and goes, We actually have a dealer ond builder of the bikes here in New Zealand down in ChristChurch, So I had to fly down to pick my bike up, I left it with a matt black paint job for about a yr and then I got it repainted to A black pearly, double coated purple, so in the night time it looks purple but then in the day time it looks black unless you are close to it then you can see the purple. It has the standard tape deck but I added a Cd player under the seat, and there are two 5x5 speakers on each side of the fairing, and get this there's two tweeters under the tank, so it sounds great when I'm doing a long distant ride, I can play some AC/DC or George Thorogood while cruising,
I've been stoped by the cops alot but not to get tickets as they have not caught me speeding yet(touch wood) no they just want to look at the bike, as there's not many Boss hoss's around the country as yet.
I'm thinking of shipping it over to LA and going to Sturgis on it next yr, and at the same time I want to go check out a couple of hotrod shows... | |
| | MP3 Shoes | | Some clever geniuses felt your regular shoes just didn't have enough integrated CD-ROMs, speakers, tweeters, and a volume control knobs, so they put this little concept together. Forget the fact that there's no way a CD will read in a moving shoe, but look at it. I mean really, look at it. It's like how they predicted the shoe of the future would look like in the 80's | |
| | What a difference one message made! | | I have been using Twitter for a couple of months. I write about stuff on MyLot and I look after Yuwie but Twitter has been my 'water-cooler' since being made redundant last October.
I don't go for automatic systems to get followers, they are all genuine contacts or people who have asked to follow me.
Today I got a nonsense reply from Jonathon Ross (one of the famous celebrity tweeters) and instantly about 30 people jumped on the bandwagon and wanted to follow me.
Is the cult of celebrity getting out of hand?

| | Are you addicted to the internet??? | | Well, if you are, have no fear..the Re-hab is here!! You may or may not have heard about the opening of the rsesidential rehab in Washington, (ironically located real close to Redmond, the HQ of Microsoft!) and if you have an extra 14K lying around, you could go enter the 45 day treatment facility. As of yesterday, they only had one patient whos life has "spun out of control" playing a particular video game and felt strongly enough about his addiction to pay the price fhor "treatment". The woman who runs the place, which was originally constructed to treat internet "sex" addicts (but program never got off the ground) says they are only equipped to handle 6 patients at a time, so best to make your reservations early!! She plans to treat people with some of the following problems, obsessed with facebook, twittering tweeters, video game addicts whos addictions have caused them jobs, their health,their relationships etc etc. people who can't stop texting (although I wasnt aware that this is an internet thing) and the list goes on and on. She says that people "hide" in the internet to escape depression, and that folks who can not deal with people on a day to day basis in the "normal"... | |
| | Anyone ever click on url's in the tweets of those you follow on twitter? | | I don't pay much attention to the tweets tweeted by those I follow on twitter, let alone click on the url's that are included in their tweets. Is that not propper "twitter etiquette?" I don't deliberately ignore the tweets of my fellow twitters, it just seems like a lot of spam to me. When and if I tweet anything, it's usually just a status update of some kind. Very rarely do I send out tweets with links in them, but every now and then I may get a tweet specifically targeted at me with my @twitterusername on it, and since twitter cloakes the url to into a tinyurl or bitlyurl you don't really know what kind of site it is other than what the tweeters description is, which is usually masked itself in order to get you to click on it. Is it just me, or has twitter seemed to turn into a spam fest? | |
| | ~Deleting Twitter Account~ What A Waste! | | I knew I had a question, Im so frustrated with this damn Twitter! I've been on there for a while now only to just find out today that all those people Im following dont see my updates because there not following me. Aint that some ish!!
Im really pissed off, like i was wasting my time and I did search on the Twitter site for that answer and I really didn't find anything stating people most follow you to see your UpDates!! Im deleting my account what a waste. It seems like the only people who somehow benefit from this Twitter is the famous celebrities, everyone's gonna follow them, thats why they have a million followers I have 5.
