| | | Prayer in schools??? | | This is simply my opinion in my own words. If you don't agree with my opinion, then we all know what opinions are like..lol. I won't agree with yours and you won't agree with mine, end of story. But, here goes...I think it's ridiculous that there's no prayer in schools. I think it's ridiculous that children can't pray to whichever God they pray to. Maybe one day, the Governor won't like the color red, and he'll ban any red clothing in public schools, simply because he or others might like blue better, and it's a difference of opinion. So to save a fight, all red clothing will be banned.Hot dogs have been reported to be a significant factor in child cancer. Question, what's on your childs lunch tray every Monday, Wednesday or whatever day is "Hot dog day?" But, don't pray.Don't pray in schools. Because our Heavenly Father isn't the only "God" in some lives. And it's not "right" to pray in public where there may or may not be other "Gods." Believers in the word of God believe that we were created by God. God created Adam, then created Eve. From these two, we were all born. Why is your child's science books still teaching evolution? | | Response to my previous add regarding Creation... | | Ya know i have recieved many replies to my previous discussion topic...and for the most part, there are a lot of God believers...worry not, there is nothing wrong with this. Although i do have a question to ask such adiment believers of such a thing we sapiens call God, first off, i want to put forward that i will not share my opinion one way or another, although i do want to point out, how can one opinion be more rediculous as the other, believing in a God Theory compared to a cultists theory or even Darwin would be just as signifigant as another, there is a cultists bible, and many science books regarding Darwins Theroy of evolution, although the cultists theory has their own "so called" bible as well, pointing more towards scientology than anything else...although i know that some are adiment about believing is Jesus Christ (which is fine, i just want to point that out) thats does have just as much proof as a cultists theory, its all in a book, along with science... | |

| | | | Freaky weather | | So last night it was thunderstorm'n, and you know me..I enjoy storms 'cause of the smell and awesomeness..so I got up and started my regular pattern.And then my little brother pointed out.."Hey..the sky is orange. Why is the sky orange?"
I was startled. 'Cause we don't have that many street lights on our street..and we can usually see the stars out here on the outskirts of the city.There was NOTHING to make almost the entire sky orange. The clouds were bright too.
But it faded after like thirty or so minutes.Do any of you know what causes that? 'Cause it kinda bothers me..I don't remember anywhere in my science books where that's a common natural phenomena.
