| PS2 modifiers | | i have a ps2 with the versions: console SCPH-50001, browser 1.40, cd player 2.00, Playstation Driver 1.11, and DVD player 3.00U.i know some of you here modified their ps2 already, and the thought here is, my lens cannot read anymore, and i want to modify it in order to play games using HDD. and by NOT using Mod chips, cds, and DVDs, but the thing is i have researched, read and tried all of the possible exploits just to hack my ps2 without using a cd or dvd, but non of them work. buying new lens is a lot more expensive. My question is:Is it possible to a unhacked ps2 to boot in USB?(because i tried also free MCboot but it won't boot also using my USB, because thats the only way i've got)Another thing is, Is it possible also to exploit my memory card install software using other PS2(not mine)and then use my Memory Card again to MY ps2 so that it can boot softwares like HD loader?and by networking, i don't have networking cables and i don't know how to connect it into my computer so that i can modify or exploit my PS2, so can you tell me what to use?Thanks a lot for your response, I'd really appreciate it if there's any.

Or would it be a factual one with news and documentaries?I live in the UK and have Freeview (for people who don't know that gives me about 40 channels that I can watch, it's an upgrade on the standard 5 channels for the UK.) I think I would be torn between either Five US which shows a mixture of comedy and drama such as Whose Line is it Anyway? House M.D. and CSI or I would go for Dave which is mainly a comedy channel showing british pannel shows such as Mock the Week and Have I got News for You.What I find interesting is that despite the fact I live in the UK and have all my life, I would happily choose a channel with all US programmes.[em]lol[/em] | |
| | What makes you really and truly mad? | | I guess all past life sinners get to use dial up connections. Of course, I am kidding...I don't believe in past life and sins. LOL!! BSNL (my service provider), for some reason known best to itself, cannot provide cables in my area. So, with an apologetic grin on their faces, they have given me a wireless phone with a CDMA - WLL (God knows what it means) dial-up Internet connection. It is quite ok...surprisingly fast at times and maddeningly slow sometimes. What drives me really crazy is the number of times I get disconnected. Just now, I got disconnected again...this time because the phone required charging. I had charged it once in the morning and again in the afternoon. Why the**** did it need charging AGAIN? | | why is my computer is not working? moniter problem.. | | when i try to start my computer the monitor just displays a screen where there is a box with some values in hertz. i have removed my monitor cables and connected again but still i get the same screen which looks like a screen saver but without the computer starting.

What to do? | | Thanks to marine cables being cut in the Mediterranean Sea somewhere the internet in Egypt has been non-existent for the last few days. It is back today, but only 1t around 50% capacity and it looks like it won't be up to full strength again until the New Year.[em]sad[/em]Now the panda ain't happy about this at all, which in turn means that I too am far from joyous at this news. He has been unable to watch his shars in Bamboo Futures online, his live webcam link to a female panda in China has been inaccessable; and his Amazon gift wishlist hasn't been updated for days now..... So how should I keep myself and the Panda occupied then if this continues?I am considering spanking him until he passes out, or turning the air-conditioning to sub zero temperatures so he hibernates; but if these ideas fail then I've got me some issues. Where you're unable to coherently string together a proper thought, then in an hour you realise how dumb you were being at the time? Amuse us with tales of your temporary stupidity!I had a real bad brain fart today, I was looking to replace the stereo to rca cable I had been borrowing from a friend. I had been using said cable to connect the stereo connector on my media center to the RCA connectors on my TV, and I thought I'd buy my own cable and give the cable back to said friend. I hadn't found any of the cables that he had, but I did find an adaptor that would allow me to adapt a two male RCA plugs to the regular stereo plug used on my computer. After I bought it, I then, for some reason, thought "wait, won't this mean I'll need to climb behind my case, unplug my headphones then plug in the RCA adaptor everytime I want to want to use my TV? Man, that will be a pain in the butt, why don't I need to do this with Tom's cable? It should be basically the same as what I'm planning except mine consists of two pieces instead of one..."
