myLot Discussions wireless computer network Can any one help me please I am trying to set up a wireless connection for my 2 pc's, I have a router connected to my main pc and i have a wireless usb adaptor on my other pc, although it says it is connected I still can't get onto the internet with... What does this means MODEM in bidge mode or router mode? well i cam to know that my DSL modem operates in either router mode or bridge mode! what are these things! can you explain me briefly!and yeah it would also be helpful if anyone can tell me how to convert modem from bridge mode to router mode... Who many computers can I connect to a router? PLease answer me to this question.. I have one and I don't know if I can connect more than 4.. because it has 4 ports. I am looking for a good but cheap router suggestion I have been using one of these terrible d-link routers and now need a new one. I need a router that transfers more than 54kbs but is also relatively cheap...like within the 30 to 40 dollar range...if possible.Any suggestions for me?
