I understand being with your family and making up for past mistakes, but I'm sure his family is not asking him to quit the sport that made him so much money (for them as well). I wonder how much time he was spending away from his family due to golf. Are there really that many tournaments in a year, that it would influence his family life? Maybe it is just that there are so many temptations on the road, that he feels (or his wife for that matter)that he won't be able to control himself at this time. Maybe he feels that because of the pressure he won't be as good of a golfer as before. I don't know the exact reason, but I am going to miss watching and hearing about the greatest golfer ever. I do hope he rekindles his relationship with his family as soon as possible and we can see him on the course before he gets too rusty. What are your thoughts and opinions.
