myLot Discussions What children's Christmas specials do you like to watch? My children and I watched the original "the Grinch who stole Christmas". This is one of our favorites. We also like Charlie Brown Christmas, The year without a Santa Clause, Nestor the long eared donkey. What do you like? Does anyone know where I can get second-hand Dr. Suess books? My daughter loves the Grinch that Stole Christmas book by Dr. Suess. So, I'm trying to locate the other Dr. Suess books, so she can have an entire collection. I've checked most of our local thrift shops, but they don't have any Dr. Suess books.... Why are monsters always green? Think of the Swamp Thing, Grinch that stole Christmas and Shrek, and you'll see what I mean. Who in the world decided that monsters should be green? While ornaments and lights have been sprouting around homes like dandelions since Halloween and we survived the madness of Black Friday,... Real life Grinch Robs Boyscouts selling trees We all know the story of the Grinch who stole Christmas, now there are real life Grinches without the mask and costumes who literally hit a kid and held up a tree lot with sawed off shot... The Grinch....Yaay!... Well I have a date tonight...with my TV. haha. I'm going to watch the Jim Carrey version of The Grinch who Stole Christmas. I love love love that movie. I've been wanting to see it since Thanksgiving and I'm happy its about to come on at seven.... don't give into the grinch and scrooge this christmas... as they ban christmas trees and santa's "ho-ho-ho"...as you frantically finish your Christmas shopping and present wrapping for the big day...as your boss makes you work christmas eve or you don't get a christmas bonus from work...remember the Dr....
