I've heard that a lot of perfumes have chemicals that are extremely harmful and carcinogenic(cancer causing).. DO you pay heed to it, when you set out to buy a perfume or you just buy your favorite flavor irrespective of the warnings.. one of my frnd had a complaint that her skin has become dark due to continuous usage of STRONG perfumes. and another frnd had allergy to strong perfumes..
do you think mild perfumes have less or no chemicals at all?? or are they harmful too?? Have you come across such people who were in similar situation?? | |

| What is your favorite perfume? | | The first perfume I bought was Avon when I was at my college. Then I got another one from my aunt which is an American brand (unfortunately I foget the name)Now the perfume I own is Chanel No. 5 and Lancome( Magnifique). To be honest, although I know Chanel No. 5 is absolutely classic but the scent is a little mature for me, I suppose. I perfer my Magnifique, it is sweet, with very pleasant rose scent. | | What would you do if your partner doesn't like your favorite perfume/cologne? | | I for one experienced this when my partner told me he didn't like the perfume I was wearing. It was a big sad because I only use that fragrance on special occasions and since it was a special occasion for the both of us, I used it. Only to be told that he didn't like it.Anyhow, now that I know he didn't like it, I won't be using that fragrance anymore. | favorite perfume | | my favorite perfume is realaties. i have been in line in a store & people behind me that i don't even know would tell me how good i smelled & wanted to know what kind of perfume i was wearing. my husband luvs it on me. it is pretty expensive (to me anyway). i have noticed that perfume will not smell the same on all people. it has something to do with ur chemistry. my mother-in-law has given me perfume that she said stunk on her, but on me it smelled wonderful. what is ur favorite perfume? | |
| | | Does it bother you when other people wear strong perfume or after shave? | | [em]thumbdown[/em]Since I have asthma and allergies, it bothers me greatly and is actually a danger when people in closed places like elevators, or public places like theaters wear strongly scented perfumes and after shave, as though they had bathed in them! I noticed that even in my drs. office there is a sign not asking that people not wear strong scents due to the problems they can cause certain other patients.
