| | Kansas City Chiefs | | I have to admit...
even though I am a die hard Cowboys fan. I do live in Texas.
I still am a Kansas City Chiefs fan too.
I grew up where there weren't any professional football teams, and my distant cousin was on the Chiefs team. Plus, my first ever pro game to see was at Arrow Head Stadium. So, I'll always be a Chiefs fan!!
Plus, I knew Tracy Simeon from school. He was great!!

| | Denver (7-3) at Kansas City (6-4) | | Longtime Kansas City Chiefs owner Lamar Hunt has always wanted his team to host a Thanksgiving game since the AFL-NFL merger. The NFL finally rewarded him with quite a matchup. The Chiefs will try to win their fifth straight home game and pull into a tie with the Denver Broncos Thursday night when the AFC West rivals meet. Kansas City hosted games on Thanksgiving three times during its first three seasons in the American Football League. Hunt's team never got a chance to host one since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970, and always wanted other cities to get the chance to host. With the league's television network broadcasting live games for the first time, it was a natural choice for Kansas City (6-4) to host the first Thursday night contest of the package. ADVERTISEMENT
"I think it's important in a lot of ways," Chiefs coach Herm Edwards said. "I think it's important for Lamar Hunt that this game is here. That's a good gesture by the league letting us play in this game. "It's the first time, but I think probably the most important thing is it's the first NFL Network game that they're actually going to televise to a national audience. So, they're excited about...
| | Orioles sign LHP Walker, re-sign LHP Parrish | | BALTIMORE (Ticker) - Jamie Walker apparently has cashed in on his career season. The Baltimore Orioles signed the former Detroit Tigers lefthander to a three-year contract on Tuesday. Financial terms were not disclosed, but the Baltimore Sun reported Thursday that the deal was worth $11.5 million.
Walker, 35, enjoyed an outstanding 2006 campaign for the American League champion Tigers, going 0-1 with a career-best 2.81 ERA in 56 relief appearances. The lefty specialist figures to bolster an Orioles bullpen which posted a 5.25 ERA last year, the second-worst mark in the majors. Walker has played six-plus seasons with Detroit and the kansas City Royals, going 15-16 with a 3.95 ERA in 383 career games. The Orioles also re-signed John Parrish to a one-year contract, averting arbitration with the lefthander. Parrish missed the 2006 season after undergoing "Tommy John" surgery in July 2005.

| Kansas City vs. Cleveland | | That football game yesterday was MESSED UP! Did anyone see it? Right before OT was called, the guy had the ball (I don't their names so this is going to be a bad description) but you could see that he had the ball in his hand and it fell into the out of bounds. We (KC) had a second on the clock. Him falling into out of bounds would have had stopped the game clock and we might have been able to kick it in and win, but no, OT was called and we lost.IT's WRONG. Kansas City should have gone to the playoffs! | |
| | | Indianapolis Colts vs Kansas City Chiefs!! | | They just announced the wildcard playoff game and its my 2 favorite teams.
The optimistic hoosier in me says the Colts are gonna win but the realistic football fan says that the colts are gonna choke and the chiefs are gonna win.Who do you think is going to win?
