| I am not sure if I have picked the correct discussion interest but you can't have a television without watching the programmes on it so here goes:-
Were you disappointed or excited by the telly programmes over Christmas and the New Year? Mostly, I was disappointed. The main reason for this was that I was at my Mum's house so therefore was away from my desktop computer for 2 weeks! The main programmes I liked were Doctor Who (surprisingly, as I usually hate this show), Cranford and The Royle Family, although the latter was not as good as the Christmas special from 2008 in my view.
I was that desperate to watch something decent that I ended up purchasing a couple of comedy DVDs. One was a 2-box set of Billy Connolly stand-up gigs in New York and Australia and the other was the rather wonderful Michael McIntyre at Wembley. At least they succeeded in cheering me up! |
