| | Christmas Angel | | Did you shop for an angel this season? My daughter and I did today. It was so much fun and we had a great time. It's a sad thought, children waking up and not having gifts under the tree. This little angel was a three year old girl in her neighborhood. I know the holiday has been blown out of porportion but it is for children... And they believe.. It is so exciting to give time and gifts to those actually in need.. | |
| | Tree | | As you all know I have this lovely Friend that I love to bits. Well she also owns some Sites and is already thinking of the christmas Themes for these Sites. So in a Joke I said to her well you can always use my Photo as an Christmas Angel and she though this was a great Idea as I keep telling her I am a little Angel, lol (I am honest, butter would not melt in my mouth, hehehe). So ok I don't mind that, if my darling Friend wants to use my Photo as a Christmas Angel that is lovely I actually feel honoured and I would probably love it. Anyway here is the thing now, she only asks me then If I would please sit on top of a Christmas tree so they can take a Photo of me on the Christmas sitting, now come on that is a joke, right? Well I thought so, but she is saying, no joke you see. Well, my dear friends I am not on mylot this Christmas please send the Cards to the Hospital, as that is where I will be after my Lovely Friend has finished trying to perk me on top of the CHRISTMASTREE. Oh my I am dreading Christmas this year, Hospital food, yuk.

| | Little Christmas Angel | | It was an unusual Christmas Eve.. in a different place, my daughter and I.We decided to try something new. We hung her sleeping bag by the chimney with care.. she giggled excitedly as she carefully wrote a note to santa;Dear Saita, Please fill this slapping bag. (name)I wondered if she would linger up late, but I read her a few stories and she read to me and she settled down to an almost instant sleep.. Which I thought was a miracle.I wrapped some and put some in un wrapped.. not really lazy, I sprained my ankle this afternoon.. ok.. maybe a little lazy. But it is harder to wrap with one foot on the arm of the couch.She's at a funny age, half little girl, half wanna be big girl. And so the assortment varies from little girl baby dolls to make your own charm bracelets..and a pair of heely's which she has been wanting I think since junior kidnergarten.THe sleeping bag is stuffed and lumpy, the sugarplums are dancing in her head, my father has scarfed down the shortbread cookies that were left for him. I still have to drink a bit of milk and leave the empty glass.. But nanna smartly pointed out that pouring it too early might make santa sick, so at least it... | |
| | My Christmas Girl is now a Christmas Angel | | My sister's granddaughter had little Katieon April 3, 1997. Little Katie was born with the chips stacked against her. Although Katienever walked she always smiled.I never met Katie but I knew her.Every Christmas I recieved a completeupdate of Katie's accomplishments andwould be so happy for every small bit of progress that my little Christmas Girlmade and I would get calls because we all loved Katie so!This past Christmas Katie's mom had remarried. She and Katie had moved andsomehow I didn't get my update. I contacted my sister to ask for news and my Great neice Lindaemailed me an update followed by a call.Last month my little Christmas Girl becamemy little Christmas Angel. Her job here onearth was finished so she went home.Katie was here much longer then we ever thought she would be and for that we are all so thankful.I am sad that I never got to hug her but I can not be sadthat her daily suffering is over.. | | Photograph of a Christmas Angel | | I read this in a U.K. newspaper a short while ago. I don't know what to think. The mother took this photo of what she believes to be an angel whilst her daughter was fighting for her life on a ventilator. Nursing staff were present when the photo was taken.
