| | Has anyone else had problems with their PT "Blues"-er? | | I bought an '06 PT last year in March. June of last year, I had to buy two new front tires because the dealership gave me the car with the alignment off and it shredded my tires. As if that was bad enough, at the beginning of this year, I received a postcard in the mail saying that I should take to car in to be inspected because the back windows were being recalled due to them falling out in one solid piece. It took me a while to remember that I needed to take it in. I finally remembered this past summer, when I was driving home from a football game and my air conditioning went out. When I brought it to the dealership, it was maybe 10am on a Friday afternoon. The dealership was extremely rude since everything was warranty work and they had to keep repeating that it was "free of charge". The woman at the desk was doing absolutely nothing and said that they wouldn't bother to look at my car that day because there was no one there that could work on it.We brought it back the following Monday for them to tell me that the repairs should take a couple of hours and that they would call sometime around 3pm to give an update. | | Chrysler, PT cruiser, what is your personal opinion on this car | | Recently, a good friend of mine want to sell me this car, Chrysler, pt Cruiser, 2001, with 80,000 mileage. Everything else is in good condition, and I let drove it myself around, and it seems pretty good.
The asking price is $4,000, and on my first thought, I might want to take it as my backup, in case the one I am driving now is in problem. From Kelly Blue book, it only cost around $3,700 for private party dealing. Some of my friend suggested me that is not a good car, since it is American car, and as you run it more mileage, or exceeding 100,000 miles, it will getting worse, and you have to spend lots of money to get it fixed again. So, what is your opinion on Chrysler, is it that bad? | |
